Dennis Adjei Dwomoh is the Managing Partner of Law Plus (Attorneys-at-Law) in Accra. Prior to joining Law Plus he was a junior partner at Kulendi@Law. He has over 9 years of work experience as a lead litigator appearing for clients in the Superior Courts of Ghana, administrative bodies and commissions of inquiry.
He was lead Counsel for the Plaintiff in the case of CENTER FOR JUVENILE DELIQUENCY v GHANA REVENUE AUTHORITY AND THE ATTORNEY GENERAL wherein the Supreme Court struck down the law that made it mandatory for all person to state their Tax Identification Number before accessing the courts. He has extensive experience in corporate and commercial litigation and spends his pro bono activities on children and juvenile related issues.
Dennis is the founder of Dennis Law, an online Legal search engine focusing on the Ghana Legal System. This Search Engine was nominated and awarded the Most Innovative Educational Technology Product at the 2019 Mobex Award. He serves as the team Leader of the Dennis Law Justice Statistics team using data to tell the justice situation in Ghana in order to influence the policy of Government and practice direction issued by the office of the Chief Justice.
Dennis is a founding member of the Faculty of Law, Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) where he taught Contract Law, Constitutional Law and Human Rights Law. He also served as Lecturer at the GIMPA Business School as well as GIMPA Public Service School where he taught courses including the Legal Environment of Business, Legal and Regulatory Framework of Health and Public Service.
He also lectured Constitutional Law and Media Law at Central University, Ghana. He served as an adjunct lecturer at the Institute of Distance Learning, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) where he lectured students in Criminal and Juvenile Justice Administration.
Dennis was called to the Ghana Bar in 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a Master of Laws (LLM) Degree in International Law and Justice from Fordham Law School, New York, USA. He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association, International Bar Association, International Chamber of Commerce where he serves as Member of the Task Force on Corruption and Arbitration. He is a currently a Director of Nestle Ghana Limited.
