NIB Supports National Chief Imam with Donation Towards Ramadan

In the spirit of generosity and solidarity, National Investment Bank PLC (NIB) has made a significant donation to the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. The donation, which took place at his residence on March 6, 2025, included bags of rice, sugar, and an undisclosed amount of money to support the Muslim community during the fasting period.

The Managing Director of NIB, Chief Dr. Doliwura Zakaria, led a delegation from the bank to present the items, reaffirming NIB’s commitment to fostering strong ties with all communities in Ghana. During the visit, Chief Dr. Zakaria requested special prayers from the National Chief Imam for his leadership and for the continued growth and success of the bank.

In his remarks, Chief Dr. Zakaria emphasized the bank’s dedication to social responsibility and inclusivity, stating, “At NIB, we recognize the importance of supporting religious and community activities that promote unity and national development. Ramadan is a sacred period of reflection and giving, and we are honored to contribute to this cause.”

The National Chief Imam expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the donation, offering prayers for the leadership of NIB and the bank’s progress. He commended the bank’s initiative, urging continued collaboration to uplift communities across Ghana.

Chief Dr. Zakaria assured the Chief Imam that NIB will maintain a close relationship with the Muslim community and will return for future engagements. “This is not just a one-time visit; we will be back again soon to strengthen our bond and continue supporting meaningful causes,” he assured.
