NIB PLC and Ministry of Environment, Science & Technology Set Stage for Strategic Partnership

In a bid to strengthen partnerships and enhance business opportunities, the Managing Director of National Investment Bank PLC (NIB), Chief Dr. Doliwura Zakaria, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Environment, Science, and Technology, Hon. Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed.

Chief Dr. Zakaria congratulated the Minister on his appointment and expressed confidence in his ability to lead the Ministry effectively.

Beyond the congratulatory gesture, the visit had a strategic purpose—positioning NIB as the preferred financial partner for institutions under the Ministry. Chief Dr. Zakaria emphasized that the Bank is undergoing a major rebranding and needs the support of government institutions to ensure its success. In response, Hon. Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed assured NIB of his Ministry’s support and welcomed further discussions on mutually beneficial opportunities. He invited the Bank to send a delegation for a follow-up meeting, with a business proposal outlining potential areas of collaboration.
