NIB Managing Director Pays Working Visit to LVS Africa Founder, Chief Alhassan Andani

The Managing Director of National Investment Bank PLC (NIB), Chief Dr. Doliwura Zakaria paid a courtesy call on Chief Alhassan Andani, Founder and Executive Chairman of LVSafrica Limited and one of Ghana’s most respected banking and investment minds.

During the meeting, Chief Andani praised NIB’s historic legacy and affirmed the bank’s critical role in Ghana’s economic transformation. “NIB is a strong and proud brand. The roots of formal banking in Ghana can be traced back to NIB. The country needs NIB now more than ever,” he said.

He emphasized the importance of positioning NIB to deliver long-term capital for national development, stating that “long-term funding must go to NIB.” Chief Andani encouraged the bank to strengthen its retail banking presence while building a compelling brand narrative around investment banking to reinforce public trust and relevance.

In response, the Managing Director of NIB expressed deep appreciation for the support and insight from Chief Andani, describing the meeting as both strategic and inspiring. “We believe in the power of word of mouth, and Chief Andani’s endorsement goes a long way. We are excited to collaborate with LVSafrica to drive our institution forward,” the MD remarked.

The Managing Director further outlined the bank’s plan to leverage capacity-building and strategic partnerships, emphasizing the need for training, mentorship, and collaboration. “We are committed to building a stronger NIB, and this will require training at all levels and tapping into experienced voices like Chief Andani’s. We look forward to a deep and impactful partnership,” the MD added. Both parties agreed to explore further avenues of collaboration aimed at strengthening NIB’s position in the financial sector and delivering innovative banking solutions to support Ghana’s industrial and economic aspirations.
