
NIB and Darul Salam Group of Companies Explore Strategic Business Partnership
In a move that signals a promising alliance in Ghana’s banking sector, the Managing Director of National Investment Bank PLC (NIB), Chief Dr. Doliwura Zakaria, paid a courtesy visit to the Founder of Darul Salam Group of Companies, Alhaji Yusif Ibrahim, on Monday, April 7, 2025. The meeting, held in Accra, focused on exploring opportunities for strategic collaboration between the two institutions.
Chief Dr. Zakaria, who was accompanied by a team from NIB, expressed appreciation to Alhaji Yusif Ibrahim for his unwavering support, continued loyalty and longstanding relationship with NIB.
In his remarks, Alhaji Yusif Ibrahim warmly welcomed the delegation and thanked the MD for his thoughtfulness. He lauded NIB as the best bank he has ever worked with, crediting it as a foundational partner in the establishment many of his businesses in Ghana. His reflections underscored the historical bond between the two institutions and set the tone for renewed collaboration.

Chief Dr. Zakaria used the opportunity to propose a formal business partnership with GT Bank, aimed at exploring mutually beneficial ventures. In response, Alhaji Ibrahim embraced the proposal and outlined several business ventures managed the Darul Salam Group of Companies, including housing development, factories, and the construction of high and low-tension power lines. He encouraged NIB to select any area of interest for collaboration and assured the MD of his companies’ readiness to engage.
The Founder further pledged to introduce other trusted partners and associates who may also be interested in doing business with NIB, thereby expanding the potential scope of collaboration.
Chief Dr. Zakaria expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception and the positive response to his proposal. He assured Alhaji Ibrahim of NIB’s readiness to initiate discussions and take immediate steps toward launching joint business ventures.
