
MANAGING DIRECTOR OF NIB CALLS ON NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE AUTHORITY
The National Health Insurance Authority, NHIA, has renewed its commitment of a continuous business operation with the National Investment Bank, (NIB) PLC. The Deputy Head of the Authority, Ms. Anatu Anne Seidu Bogobiri, gave the assurance when the Managing Director of NIB, Chief Dr. Doliwura Zakaria Awushie Abdul-Malik Seidu called on the Authority on Friday, 4th April, 2025 at the Head Office.
The visit was part of a raft of measures to extend unique banking services to institutions and the business community including the Authority. Chief Dr. Doliwura Zakaria indicated his determination to collaborate and strengthen business relations between the two institutions for their mutual benefit. “NIB is poised to regain its former glory of supporting businesses and institutions to achieving their set up goals”. He reiterated.
He was of the firm believe that such collaborations are of paramount important to building the capacities of local businesses and institutions that will fashion out local solutions to stem the tide of capital flight.
He said building local businesses will ensure stable currency, create employment, resilient economy and financial inclusion to all segments of society crucial for poverty alleviation, economic growth and development.
According to Chief Dr. Doliwura Zakaria, NIB, has identified the National Health Insurance Authority as a strategic partner for deposit mobilization and extension of credit facilities to staff at a reasonable negotiated rate terms and payment.
Ms. Anatu Anne Seidu Bogobiri, who embraced the idea, promised to further engage the bank in the coming days. The gesture, she believes, is in the right direction that will promote the common interest of the two institutions, adding that, the Authority is supportive of any move that benefits the institution and staff.
